      my job entitles looking after the whole bird collection in the park such as; cranes, game birds, water fowl, flamingos, pelicans, parrots, birds of prey, and much more. I also do a bit of working for endangered species such as Manchurian Cranes, Southern Ground Hornbills, Saddle-billed Storks, Black & Grey Crowned Cranes and Cape Parrots. I also manage a team of bird keepers, assist with vet work (lots of hands on experience by helping the on-site vet) and when needed hand rearing any of the birds in the collection.
