I tutor English language learners and readers of all ages! Most of my clients are either 4-6 years old who are learning how to read, grade school level students improving reading comprehension and fluency, and adults learning English as a second language for the purpose of school, work, or general communication. I am a classified sub for the public school district and a licensed sub for Salem Academy. I sub every grade level, both special and standard classrooms. I became a preferred sub at two different schools after just one month of work due to my flexibility handling different classroom styles and my good nature and attitude with the children. I hope soon to be a teacher myself. I am a classified sub for the public school district and a licensed sub for Salem Academy. I sub every grade level, both special and standard classrooms. I started as a server at this restaurant, learning how to properly pour wine and up sell appetizers, drinks, and dessert. When I turned 21 I then learned how to bartend and did that for a few months before they promoted me to a morning supervisor. Shortly after that I was again promoted to assistant manager, a position that I had for about a year before I left the company. In that position I was responsible for scheduling, invoicing, attending leadership meetings, and training, screening, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, ensuring the restaurant was keeping up with Holiday Inn standards, and most importantly doing whatever I could to encourage and take care of the serving staff I was responsible for. In this role I taught our guests how to zipline, rappel, crawl through our cavern system, pan for gold, and rock climb. I led walking tours of the cavern, worked in the gift shop as both cashier and stocker, and helped guest with release form paper work. I became a lead guide on the zip line, meaning I was responsible for training new employees how to run the zip line and complete safety checks on it every morning. I absolutely loved this job for the happy energy of the place and the way we were able to bring joy to so many people! Show less
