At UMAB Ms. Levings tutored me in may subjects. Her knowledge of nursing is phenomenal. She is able to tailor each student's style of learning when needed to get concepts across to students.

Sheila is delightful to work FOR and WITH. I have been cleaning for her for a few years now and she has helped tutor me in my biology course and advised me academically at Salem Women's College. She is a wealth of information and positivity for which I would highly recommend her services!

Responsible for daily management of the retention program for the estimated 270+ students enrolled on three campuses of the ADN/ PN Certificate/ LPN Bridge programs in the CSM Health Sciences Division. Focus is the support of at-risk students based on the evaluation of student data for specific indicators associated with a decreased probability of degree completion. Assessment factors include academic progression, concerns related to individual learning styles, personal or family stressors, and financial issues, as well as others that may hinder success. Referrals are made to appropriate resources and workshops available on the campuses/ within the greater southern Maryland community. The retention program is a collaborative effort involving Health Division faculty and staff, advisors, and college support services.
