May 2016 - Present
I started as a caregiver and then was promoted to Staff Coordinator, I still help with caregiving. I am working as an assistant to the director, I take my job very seriously and professionally. I work 40 hours a week plus I get texts and calls everyday outside of work that I have to take care of. I correct schedules, take care of call-ins and help with any other problems my boss may encounter and need help with. I am very fair when it comes to scheduling but I am willing to give the people who show initiative and work hard the proper praise they deserve. The Fountains at Bronson Place a watermark community.

Responsibilities I assist residents in the facility. I work both with memory care patients and in the assisted living home as well. My day to day responsibilities include lifting residents, passing medication and daily cleaning and showers. My job is all about multitasking and being a people person. We do serve all the meals, do the laundry, feed our residents, change our residents, pass their pills, and do activities with them throughout the day to help keep their minds working. Accomplishments I have gotten two raises in just a short period of time because of hard work and dedication. I have become a shift leader and also a pill passer. I had to become certified which also helped with me getting my raises. I also have learned so much about memory care and have watched my residents start to remember who I am and help them remember their family members as well. It is a very rewarding job, I will miss my residents dearly but I am currently looking into new opportunities to expand my work experience and education. Skills Used Multitasking Patience Listening and being able to communicate back with my residents. Flexible team player which goes with the multitasking and covering of shifts whenever needed. Personable, not only with the residents but with their family members who came in and being able to update them without a HIPPA violation.

Responsibilities I go to individuals homes and help care for them, each home requiring different tasks and duties. Some of those duties include: basic house work, incontinence care, seasonal chores, dressing, bathing/grooming, and transportation. I work with handicapped, mentally disabled and dementia patients. Accomplishments I have had many clients request me to continue as their only care provider. I give every person I work with all the attention I could possibly give no matter what level of help they need. I love everyone of my clients no matter the difficulty or if they are having a bad day. I also think that I help brighten my clients days for them to know someone does love them and cares about them. Skills Used Problem solving and quick thinking are two major skills I have shown at this job. Working with all different sorts of clients requires me to be fast acting. I also use patience and understanding, not all of my clients are mentally capable of expressing their correct feelings and instead of me getting upset with them I still show them as much love and kindness that any human deserves.

Responsibilities I helped women find the wedding dress of their dreams. I am required to help straighten the store and set up new displays. I have to translate peoples ideas to what it would look like in a wedding dress. I have to understand peoples feelings and facial expression while trying on the gowns. It has been one of the best job experiences in my life. It has been wonderful to watch so many people walk out of their happy. I have also gotten many positive reviews on our davids bridal questionnaire. Accomplishments I am one of the top selling stylist and I get currently the most hours because of that. I help make women happy, I help make them proud of their body no matter what shape or size and I make them feel like a princess. Skills Used Personal Skills is my number one skill used here, I have to socialize and understand what they are conveying to me, so I can find their dream gown.

Responsibilities Planned events and meeting for Randy and his other State Farm associates. I always filed (organization and alphabetizing), faxed, copied, any information that was asked of me. I researched rental car vendors pricing, scheduled everyone in the office's appointments, called regarding late notices, listed work shops for employees educational purposes, and studied information and prepared it in a spark notes way for a mass office email. I took care of everyones needs, starting with the customers and any office staff that required help or back up. Pivoting and up-selling were always very important, not only just different types of insurance but also our banking products. Accomplishments I have a lot of the girls that work there currently asking me to come back and work their again. I feel like I really helped with the people who came in, I kept people calm and explained their policies to them in a way they could understand. I love working with people and helping them understand and to be happy in their lives. This job has helped me realize I want to go into a job helping people. Skills Used Some of my skills include: Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, organization, alphabetizing, with many other people skills and computer skills. I also learned their computer systems and self learned many new short cuts.
