I worked in stamps, proofreading, darkroom and plate-making. Promoted within 2 years to Prepress supervisor. I was in charge of typesetting, proofreading, darkroom, plates and stamps for eleven years. At which time, I transferred to the Safety department. In this position, I managed MSDS files, created and designed maps for press locations, safety maps, plant maps for fire/tornado evacuation, special event posters, and wrote and produced a bi-monthly plant-wide newsletter. I also was first contact for incoming visitors and deliveries. In 2014, my duties were expanded to include supervising a crew of custodians and handling paperwork, ordering supplies and secretarial duties for the facilities manager. In 2018, my duties further expanded to directing 10 dept employees for breakdowns, projects and emergencies. Ordering Press and Facility parts for dept. Direct communication with outsourced custodial company and staff. Set up maintenance and repairs from outside vendors for the facility. In 2021, took over duties of Safety Officer for plant of 700 + along with Facilities duties.
