Worked in asset forfeiture. Processed vouchers for payment using cardinal system. I resigned. This job was very different from anything that I had done before. The nature of the work was very repetitive and just wasn't for me. Worked in asset forfeiture. Processed vouchers for payment using cardinal system. I resigned. I co-taught in the Eco-Explorer lab. We taught 5th grade students about watersheds and stormwater pollution. They also rotated through three stations including dendrology, live fiddler crabs, and water quality testing. When I taught off campus, I went to schools and conducted one-hour labs in classrooms for 3rd - 5th grade students pertaining to soils, classifying aquatic animals into animals that have vertebrates and don't have vertebrates and don't have vertebrates, and identifying sea creatures using dichotomous keys. There was another lab that I taught about geology, and another about ecosystems. I was in layoff status from the state and when I was offered the job with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services I would lose my state benefits, so I left the MathScience Innovation Center.
