I was the Clinical lead for Multidisciplinary service for assessment &management of severely mentally unwell patients often at high risk to self and others. I supported patients with complex needs(over 24 inpatient beds) e.g. Eating disorders, learning disability, dual diagnosis, physical co morbidities There was considerable medicolegal work and tribunals .I also gained experience in dealing with serious incidents, multiagency working , safeguarding approaches, Crisis referrals and transition to community teams supported by HTT.Supervised nurses, medical students, GP trainees ,full time speciality and foundation doctorsMade inclusion of carers and patient views a top priority Participated in the trust research programme and in service redesign
