  I joined Nexia in the year 2004 with the intention to acquire as much experience as I can and then to move to other auditing and accounting firm or Big4. However, till date I’m still learning and have more to learn at Nexia. Through my journey at Nexia I have got the opportunity to work with different partners in different fields. I started in auditing of local clients and then move to accounting department for clients and as I progress, I get involved in processing of payroll for different clients and also in preparation of VAT. Gradually I were involved in taxation for local clients and compliance with Income Tax Act. I also got the opportunity to work in auditing for offshore clients and preparing of tax computation. At present I am working in the insolvency department where I’m involved with voluntary winding up. I’m also responsible to review and finalize the accounts of Nexia. I have a solid team and my performance is based on satisfying clients needs with a prompt response to their queries and ensuring quality services at the same time which ultimately will bring more clients. I should also ensure delegation of work is done properly to the team and most important the team is happy which finally brings to a positive environment at work. Show less
