      Major Responsibilities:o Cash flow management - Prepare 12 month forecast model and liaise with management for purchase and sale forecast update. - Liaise with the bank for RTGS and manage the bank OD facility so that balances are kept to a minimum. - Daily bank reconciliations. - Payment of overseas suppliers electronically with foreign exchange management on a day to day basis.o Month end reporting - Monthly GL closing and submission of management reporting pack including consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet. - Coordinating Financial Controller in budgeting / forecasting and periodic variance analysis. - Statutory reporting requirements including income tax, BAS and FBT returns. - Maintaining company fixed asset register.o Management Accounting - System cost & sell price review and implementation. - Bill of Material review / audit, and cost analysis. - Liaising with product managers and branch managers to review product GP and determine whether pricing reviews need to be undertaken. - Reconciling the inventory records with GL.o Payroll - End to end fortnightly payroll preparation and process. - Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries. - Prepare GL journals for monthly payroll costs. - Ensure payroll taxes, PAYG, super, child support, union fee and other payroll related payments are lodged and paid on a timely basis. - Liaise with the HR manager for implementing procedures. - Liaise with the work cover authority on work cover claims & ensure that all relevant paperwork is kept and lodged as appropriate. - Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations. o Liaising with Deloittes for year-end audit process in line with current Accounting Standards.o Accounts Payable Support.o Shipping and Logistic Support. o National Stock Control Support.o Product Code Management Support.
