I took an internship opportunity during my second semester of college where I worked with immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers living in the United States to provide free online ESL classes. I composed slideshows with videos, beginner phrases, and pictures to teach key topics in English, with the help of Google Translate for a fast and efficient way of communicating through any misunderstandings. I arranged content based on critical topics for everyday conversations while assigning homework that I thought could make a discernible difference in their learning developments over the span of the course.
