As my manager, Shayla, ensured that development in new skills and mentorship were of utmost importance. I was the first and only Korean intern at CEA and was having difficulties adapting to a new environment. She helped ease the culture shock. During on boarding she clearly communicated what I needed to do in order to achieve my goals. She helped me develop my career goals and learn new things. I appreciate that she took a proactive approach to develop and grow my skills. I was able to walk away from my internship with knowledge of many platforms; Salesforce, ZOOM, Canva, Asana, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WordPress, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, Canva, Sitefinity, Calendly. It would be a pleasure to work with Shayla again!

As a senior leader at CEA, I valued Shayla's work ethic and energy. I highly recommend Shayla as a trainer in an academic setting. She work on and ultimately oversaw our alumni relations team. In this capacity, she managed 500+ student ambassadors nationwide (120 per term) and prepared the on-boarding process: interviewing, training and provided continuous professional development in a virtual and face to face environment which helped CEA connect with more students on campus and increased digital content for the CEA Blog and social media channels. Her key strengths include: *Training - evaluated and executed the effectiveness of new/and/or modified training strategies, utilized course management system (CMS), Moodle, to streamline training and give feedback *Mentorship - providing ongoing professional development through career workshops, letters of recommendation, and feedback on resume writing *Leadership - designed, delivered and measured ambassador KPI's
