I worked closely with Shay for over five years, as he was one of our earliest engineers here at Help Scout. I regularly threw work onto Shay's plate, and, each time, he'd take on this work with eagerness and excitement. Over his tenure with me, I watched as he elegantly handled customer support issues, stepped into front-end engineering, cranked out back-end coding, spun up new microservices, debug complex legacy code with ease and mitigate production issues. He has a can-do attitude, and I've never once seen him shy away from a task. Shay is an excellent addition to an engineering team!
