● Owning the responsibility for quality-control of all A/V equipment inbound to and upon return from events. ● Preparing, packing, and loading daily equipment orders in a safe and timely manner, being mindful of any problems that may arise from items within or missing from the show order. ● Delivering and picking up shows and/or rentals as needed via cargo van / 16ft. Box Truck / Forklift. ● Receiving all A/V equipment from shows, ensuring all elements are returned in an acceptable fashion. Return equipment to proper storage areas. ● “Repairing out” items that are received in a condition not easily repairable, noting show details and state of equipment. ● Evaluate equipment flagged in “Repaired Out” state and repair if possible. When in-house repair is not possible, alert shift manager regarding the state of the equipment. ● Communicate directly with shift managers on daily tasks, as well as briefing them on any equipment problems/shortages that may arise. ● Tracking missing items / consumable items and initiating stock resupply and/or reorders. ● On-boarding new A/V Tech employees and assisting with cross-training new employees as needed. ● Working with management concepting, planning and executing new projects / procedures to elevate the operation of the department.
