  Shawn worked in the Jail, Civil, Detectives, Narcotics and Patrol divisions during his 22 career, retiring as a Sgt. supervising the 3-11 uniformed patrol shift. Shawn spent 18 years on the SWAT team, serving the last 7 as the team leader. Shawn supervised the firearms instructors, A.L.i.C.E. instructors, live fire range, active killer training, instructed tactics and officer safety in FTO program. He graduated from the FBI NA session 248.
