In this role I worked with other senior team members on both operational and strategic matters. I led the team responsible for all of the accounting and finance functions of InVision (Company). I was recruited to strengthen the financial position of the Company and to rebuild the accounting/finance team after the Company had experienced turnover in the department, including the CFO position. After evaluating the systems and personnel, a plan was put into place, implemented and then ultimately managed to a successful conclusion. As one measure of success, the accounting/finance team had some of the highest Company scores during a recent employee engagement survey. To maintain essential staff and financial solvency during the Covid pandemic, various government grant programs were quickly evaluated for applicability, applied for and ultimately received. This funding enabled the Company to continue its important mission in supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism (ID/A). I also worked with the Company's banking partners to significantly increase the Company's long-term borrowing capacity to facilitate the purchase of real estate and vehicles.
