I decided to offer Shawn internship through the HR Practicum Programme at my HR Expert Academy because of his passion for the field of Human Resource Management and his desire to pursue a career in the field. From the first two assignments Shawn undertook during his internship, I was convinced that I had made the right decision to have him on my team. He is a brilliant individual with superb written communications skills and an analytical mind. Shawn reads and assimilates information faster than many people I know. He asks some though-provoking questions that often cause me to conduct in-depth research to find the answers. His work ethic is impeccable, Shawn will complete tasks quickly and accurately and request other challenging assignments. He describes himself as a Philomath, an apt description for his thirst for and love of learning. Any organization that hires Shawn Smith will get a committed, knowledgeable, capable individual who will stick to a task until it is completed. I highly recommend Shawn for an HR, Social Work or other role that is commensurate with his qualifications and experience.
