Shawn constantly stays abreast of the latest in learning technologies, systems, and design. He managed the learning product development system/tool used by all faculty at DAU to develop online self-paced training. In that capacity, and positions prior, he excelled at communicating and collaborating with all parts of the organization - executive leadership, program managers, instructional designers, project managers, and contractor support. As the organization selected a learning management system to replace a prior system, Shawn was instrumental in introducing us to industry experts that helped define and refine a complex set of requirements. This proved to be an extremely valuable collaboration to the teams involved and to the organization. Shawn continues to build relationships throughout the organization to ensure that innovative approaches are explored and integrated into the offerings. He continues to excel at keeping his eye toward the possibilities in the world of learning technologies and learning design!

I worked with Shawn in various situations throughout my 7 years at George Mason University. Shawn is dedicated to not only teaching his colleagues what he knows about the field of Instructional Design but is willing to learn and expand his knowledge, While working with him, we worked on several Section 508 accessibility projects. He was always willing to listen to my thoughts and take them to heart. Shawn was a great person to work with and continues to be someone that I go to for advice and guidance. I recommend him for any job without hesitation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about Shawn.
