In my current role as VP of Operations for Eden Innovations, a pioneering technology company offering groundbreaking solutions in nanomaterial concrete admixtures, bi/dual-fuel diesel engine conversions, combustion, and controls engineering, I oversee all on-site operations.I lead an amazing and very sharp team, with no one siloed into one position, across production, engineering, administration, R&D, IT, logistics, and accounting. I also handle P&L, budget, and balance sheet responsibility. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS► Led building and launching of a new multi-million-dollar chemical processing plant with a small team of engineers and technicians to produce EdenCrete.► Created a state-of-the-art concrete batching and wet chemistry lab, including implementation of a laboratory information management system.► Developed patent-pending process for large scale production of carbon nanotube reactors.

During my time as Engineering Manager, I led on-site operations (EdenCrete Admixture production, OptiBlend production, software development) and handled major projects with a team of eight direct reports. I maintained the technology roadmap and added a new product line.SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS► Pioneered industry first and still the only natural gas dual fuel kit with closed-loop feedback, which allows the system to adjust the fuel-air ratio based on natural gas quality.► Secured GDOT approval and met early customer orders by significantly scaling up the 1L EdenCrete batches within 12 months.► Developed a high-performance team of engineers and technicians to successfully install and commission OptiBlend kits.

As Eden’s Senior Research and Development Engineer, I calibrated natural gas engines to run on a blend of natural gas and hydrogen. This position provided me with the chance to truly come up with solutions that required me to step outside of my comfort zone. I was pleased to rise to the challenge and deliver a product that is considered “the crown jewel” of Eden.SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS► Empowered launching of OptiBlend in the US market and gained product recognition as a world-class dual fuel product by establishing production, assembly, manufacturing protocols, and hiring.► Fueled India sales through on-site support of the President for sales pitches and co-developed own dual fuel kit state-side to run the engine on natural gas and hydrogen.

In this role, I was the appointed companywide systems engineer for active driver assistant subsystems and served as quality lead for overhead electronics and lead engineer for Jeep’s active driver-assist subsystem.SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS► Lowered the number of redundant systems, system complexity, and achieved significant cost reduction by leveraging combined model volumes.► Detected and initiated remedying of fuel economy discrepancy in the new Jeep Nitro with the diesel engine.
