Shawn Ward is a high quality junior officer who worked for me in Commando Training Wing. He is simply one of the most inspirational and professional junior officers I have had the privilege of commanding over the last 28 years. HIghly respected and determined he is an excellent leader with a strong track record of success in extreme and routine circumstances. Despite being determined and robust he always remained humble, willing to learn and caring towards his men. A fine young man for whom I have the utmost respect and would recommend him without reservation.
