I have over 29 years of structural engineering experience in the successful completion of high-profile projects in Florida, nationally, and internationally for local, large corporate, and federal, state, and local municipalities. My experience includes structural building design and technical analysis of large array of projects including educational, municipal, commercial, medical, industrial, and residential. I have specialized experience in concrete and steel, high-rise commercial structures, post-tension, seismic, and hurricane wind-load design, as well as in analysis for renovation and restoration. I currently belong to the American Concrete Institute, American Society of Civil Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, and the American Institute of Steel Construction. Community and Volunteer involvement includes serving as the FL USAR (Urban Search & Rescue) Lead Structural Specialist for FL Task Force 6, taking part of the initial venture between AIDG-MCEER/United Nations in their Haiti Engineering Relief effort, and work yearly with Florida Gulf Coast University Civil Engineering Seniors to mentor them in senior structural design project.
