I feel truly blessed to be working at a company with such a great mission as VirTra.Since my start date of 10/4/2021 to current Dec 2022, I have saved VirTra a total of $ 294k in cost savings with my astute purchase negotiations. Maintaining positive rapport with vendors is both the professional thing to do but helps facilitate better pricing and speedier lead service at times. Customer service is both external AND internal, both of which are critical. I commit to meeting my co-workers needs and demand so that they are successful and the company is successful. Team work and clear effective communication are also vital to being proficient in a fast paced environment as VirTra. Using both Epicor and working close with Sales, Production Mgr and Inventory Lead, are key to producing effective Purchase Orders.

I had started as the Logistics Coordinator handling all of the shipping. Which included parcels and LTL as well, both domestic and international.Not long after my start, the Purchasing Manager position became available and the owner offered me the role. Through my role as the Purchasing Manager, I was able to reduce costs, improve efficiency and productivity, improve vendor rapport and relations, monitor orders and helped improve morale. I worked closely with the Production Mgr, Inventory Team, Engineers, and Sales Director.

I obtained this job by emailing the Owner "I see that you've been awarded Best Print Shop in Phoenix for several years in a row. I have experience in mailrooms and copy centers but have always wanted to get into printing. I want to always work for the best." Shortly after I sent that email, I started working at Print Time. My primary duties included project management of customers' print/copy/mail jobs. But daily I ran various equipment on the production floor, as well as handled most of the shipping and assisting with daily deliveries of customer jobs. The accounts under my supervision all had sales increases.

This position was originally with Konica Minolta Site Services and only the last few months was under ARO, as they purchased the contract. I was a contract employee at the APS HQ building in Downtown Phoenix.
