Under the supervision of the Executive Director of the campus, the Director of Career Center is responsible for ensuring that the career center process functions smoothly and effectively and that their Career Center department yields and maintains a 90% employed and 60% externship to hire rate per program • Develops employer contacts by networking, responding to job ads, and incoming job orders • Assists students in developing a successful job search plan (resume, interviewing, networking, etc.) • Conducts and coordinates career development workshops • Documents placement activities and prepares reports tracking placement rates • Conducts and analyzes graduate and employer satisfaction surveys • Plans graduation ceremonies and networking events (i.e. career fairs) • Oversees and supervises Externship Coordinator and Career Center Advisors • Enter and manage data in STARS to ensure all job postings, placement tracking and comments are up to date and are being entered by Career Center Staff • Ensure that employment verifications are complete and accurate according to Anthem Education standards, accrediting standards, and regulatory requirements • Analyze reports in STARS and internal portal to track placement ratios, create run-rates and manage goals for Externship Coordinators and Career Center Advisors based on performance expectations • Provides documented graduate performance evaluations to Executive Director and Director of Education for program and faculty performance improvement • Participates in Program Advisory Committee Meetings • Schedules a minimum of two monthly employer visits to the campus • Performs other comparable job duties as assigned
