The i-Parcel team of UPS provide retailers a wonderful one-stop-shop method of globally shipping packages. Instead of opening complicated relationships with the 100's of shipping providers in Europe or Asia, the i-Parcel team does the work for them by creating a central interface for the retailer to connect with many different shipping services in the world. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): -Wide range of user support including email, VoIP phone connection and troubleshooting, - -PC repair such as replacing hard drives, power supplies, etc -I was the primary technology purchaser prior to UPS's purchase of i-Parcel. -User support for our in-house custom built shipping applications -Finding and reporting software bugs to developers -Running/modifying SQL reports per user specifications -Wrote a number of scripts (batch, python, Linux shell) to assist developers or users -Wrote a stand alone multi-threaded desktop application (still in daily use) in C# for the developers that will recursively search all documents in a directory for any number of desired strings and email the results -create and support email accounts for all employees using Google Apps for Business suite -assist with server management I have experience with: -MS SQL Server Management Studio -Redmine ticket system -Zendesk -Visual Studio -Google Apps for Business -Crystal Reports -Linux, Windows XP, 7, 10, and Max OS Show less
