These range from care homes, office environments, retail and manufacturing each with their own complex HR requirements. *Key part of role is to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the business including CEO’s, MD’s and managers to ensure the company’s compliance with current UK legislation whist managing the commercial interests of the client. *Focusing on the strategic direction of each company to pull together a HR plan in line with their long-term goals, such as, succession planning and training. *As the main contact for the client, my role is to offer advice and guidance relating to all employment/human resources queries including, but not limited to, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management and redundancy. During my time at Mentor I have been able to advise clients on difficult subject matters including redundancy, settlement agreement and capability dismissal. *Supporting the advice line on a monthly basis. *Providing clients with updates on significant employment law and HR, employee relations and people management developments in their industry. *Delivering both in-house and public employment law training. *Upselling additional services to clients towards financial targets i.e. additional training consultancy services, settlement agreements. *In addition, I have joined a project group called ‘Managing People Well’.
