I worked for Plymouth Citybus at their subsidiary Go Cornwall bus at an outstation in Liskeard, Cornwall. My role is transporting passengers around East Cornwall and into Devon, the routes are mainly rural and with a huge influx of tourists in the summer makes for an interesting job. As well as driving the vehicle my role includes cash handling, advising on routes, assisting passengers to board and disembark safely, Tourist information, being an ambassador for the company and its values.I have also worked with the MD in 2016 to get sponsorship and involvement in the local LGBT pride event, this was a great PR opportunity and showed the company's commitment to diversity and equality.
