As General Manager, Shaun was responsible and accountable for the delivery of all financial, operational and safety targets for Cleanaway's Industrial Services strategic business unit - approx. 550 team members & revenue c$130m annually. The Industrial Services business provides sustainable and high execution risk industrial cleaning and adjacent services within large scale Australian production environments. The position and opportunity required a heavy and renewed focus on customer engagement by driving strategic growth and efficiency programs through existing contracts (Alcoa, South32, BHP, Rio Tinto, & Arrium), emerging markets (Shell, BP, Caltex, &GLNG), and optimisation under utilised assets and resources in non-contracted transactional geographies.The opportunity to develop, mentor and coach direct reports in a talent management framework was a privilege which allowed the identification of high potential and high professional employees across the multiple business layers for succession & development. In the capacity of senior executive (one of 8 Cleanaway General Managers), Shaun energetically contributed to Transpacific divisional and group programs, including senior responsibilities in driving group procurement outcomes with Caltex (targeting reciprocal trade) & designing the managed service provider with Randstad.
