  As General Manager, Shaun was responsible and accountable for the delivery of all financial, operational and safety targets for Cleanaway's Industrial Services strategic business unit - approx. 550 team members & revenue c$130m annually. The Industrial Services business provides sustainable and high execution risk industrial cleaning and adjacent services within large scale Australian production environments. The position and opportunity required a heavy and renewed focus on customer engagement by driving strategic growth and efficiency programs through existing contracts (Alcoa, South32, BHP, Rio Tinto, & Arrium), emerging markets (Shell, BP, Caltex, &GLNG), and optimisation under utilised assets and resources in non-contracted transactional geographies.The opportunity to develop, mentor and coach direct reports in a talent management framework was a privilege which allowed the identification of high potential and high professional employees across the multiple business layers for succession & development. In the capacity of senior executive (one of 8 Cleanaway General Managers), Shaun energetically contributed to Transpacific divisional and group programs, including senior responsibilities in driving group procurement outcomes with Caltex (targeting reciprocal trade) & designing the managed service provider with Randstad.

  As the Industrials Divisional CFO (Revenue $650m, FTE 1,700, sites > 40), Shaun was responsible and accountable for the delivery of transactional finance functions, through a team of 30 dedicated professionals. Shaun lead a small project team in the delivery of the innovative transformation efficiency program, creating a team of decision support and results driven specialist roles later known as the FP&A team. Shaun was a member of the executive team responsible for the the development and cultural change delivery of the 5 year enterprise strategy and operational transformation project. Shaun held various steering committee memberships and regularly briefed the board on performance updates and project deliverables.
