Shaun joined the company as a talented voiceover artist and quickly established himself as a charismatic, organised individual, eventually ending up as a Team Leader. Proving his worth there, Shaun was promoted by management to Head of Production, overseeing the workflow in the Copywriting, Voiceover and Animation departments and ensuring a smooth working environment to a high standard. Shaun is a very likeable and approachable individual and is popular with his colleagues. Where ever Shaun ends up next in an occupational capacity, his employers will have gained a very valuable member of their team.

When I joined the Cream Club Shaun was made known to me by his line manager as a high performer in his role as a Voice Over Artist. It became apparent Shaun took immense pride in his work and was willing to go the extra mile to benefit the team. He soon progressed to the role of Team Leader where he delivered improvements to the performance of the voiceover department, looking at ways to raise efficiencies and training in particular. When the role of Head of Production became available Shaun was the obvious candidate, his leadership sills and eye for reportage served him very well in this role and he performed brilliantly. He had a strong understanding of each sub-department and where the pressures lay. I would strongly recommend working with Shaun in a management capacity. He has a determination to do the best by his team and to get the best out of the community in the office.

    • Voice Over Team Leader
      • Mar 2014 - Jun 2015

      - I manage a team of voice over artists, both in-house and external. I am expected to keep a close eye on the overall workload for the voice over department and ensure that all deadlines are met.- The type of work that I manage can vary from property videttes and testimonials right through to producing, editing and developing the first in-house audio newspaper.- My role as a voice over artist has seen me produce an estimated 1,300 voice overs per month since I started my job in March 2014.- In the managerial side of my duties, I provide members of my team with 1 to 1's and regular check ups. I also work closely with the company's Quality Assurance Officer to gain information on how my team can improve.- During downtime, I have written various blog posts and have been involved in shooting, editing and producing videos for our department. • Dispensary Assistant
      • Jan 2011 - Jul 2012

      - As counter assistant, I worked at the front of the dispensary. This involved helping patients and customers with information and serving them their prescriptions. - I also adapted to the role of dispensary assistant, which saw me help fill out prescriptions and gather the relevant medication for it to be checked by the dispenser. - Stationery manager was a role that I adopted to ensure the whole doctors practice was supplied with the correct amount of toners, cartridges and even doctors prescriptions. I would also have to anticipate the volume of the orders according to usage. This part of my job gave me the chance to speak and negotiate with stationery reps to get the best deal possible for the practice. - The position of repeat prescription clerk tested my ability to work under great amounts of pressure. I would normally produce a high amount of repeat prescriptions daily to ensure that each patient got the medication they needed in the allotted time. I would also liaise with GP's, pharmacy technicians and patients alike. Show less

      • 2006 - Jul 2008

      - As a volunteer, I helped out behind the scenes providing the on air talent with news stories, music and games. - After gaining experience as a volunteer, the station hired me to continue my role for both the breakfast show and the afternoon drive time show. - I was introduced to being on air gradually until I was given the chance to host my own 5 hour slot on a Sunday afternoon. This experience saw me progress to co-host of the breakfast show and gave me the chance to host when other DJ's were ill. Show less
