  Whilst in attendance at the Magistrates' court and Crown court, I observed trials ranging from sexual assaults to thefts. My work experience has opened my eyes to the many skills needed to make a competent lawyer, including communication and teamwork, vital, for example, when interviewing victims. I have also read case notes which involves close attention to detail, and I was asked to feedback my perception of the case. This was a great way of developing excellent oral communication skills with other members of the legal profession. I was under the supervision of Ronan Maguire who helped me understand and expand my knowledge on Criminal Law.
