Charis-Marie Vanderpuye
I had the pleasure of working with Sharon on the executive board for Carnegie Mellon's pre-medical society, Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED).She was the treasurer for our organization and displayed leadership and creativity during her term. Sharon displayed transparency with our financial dealings and contributed to fundraising ideas. Not only was Sharon a wonderful addition to the board, but she was also helpful outside of class. She never hesitated to share books or tutor fellow members. I enjoyed working with Sharon and am happy to recommend her!
Varun Gadh
As Managing Director of the Carnegie Mellon Independent Musicians Organization (CMU IMO), Sharon led internal administration of the organization and event planning. She also held shared responsibility for budgeting and interviewing potential board members. During this period of incredible growth for the organization, she was also balancing an extensive courseload and other extracurricular activities. Sharon demonstrated composure under pressure, great organizational acuity, and a capacity for dedicated, consistent hard work. She's a very committed team member and was primary factor in the organization's growth and success.
