Specialized programs carried out by the Center include:- Environmental impact assessments and GHG emissions tracking. - Long-term SDG financing and investing.- Scientific research and analysis modeling the world in 2050 for solutions for climate change mitigation. - Leading and planning meetings for global finance ministers with international financial institutions, including the IMF, the World Bank, IsDB, ADB, and IADB, helping countries with SDG targets.- Primary liaison to the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences at the Vatican to design programs on Laudato Si’ principles (integral ecology, ecological economics, and education; ecological spirituality; and emphasis on community involvement and participatory action) under the auspices of Pope Francis.- Mission 4.7, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) under SDG 4. Overseeing the collaboration with the Vatican, UNESCO, and The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens and stakeholders.- Keeping track of the Center’s bigger picture mission to mobilize scientific expertise and development challenges by managing the Director’s commitments, multiple projects and initiatives, and partnerships, and making decisions on his behalf to move the Center’s projects forward.- Fundraise $2 - 7 million annually to support operations and research at the Center and partner NGOs.
