  A dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educator eager to contribute to the success of the child and the Organization through hard work, compassion, and excellent organizational skills. • Classroom observations to identify students with learning disabilities, and assess the student based on a pre-determined checklist on Reading, Writing, Comprehension, and Mathematics skills • Discuss internally with the HOD and the Coordinator regarding the student's functional level and present the concerns with their respective parents. • An Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) is developed based on the level of the child, post "Psychoeducational Assessment Reports" • Strive to bridge the gap between the child's current functional level and the grade expectation level, considering the learning style of the child. • Regularly meet with the HOD to review progress and discuss concerns to better performance of the child. • Provide 1-1 sessions with the child as well as classroom facilitation. • Students are not only mentored academically but also on behavior modifications • Work alongside classroom teachers to provide accommodations for the child and differentiated learnings • Seek opportunities to involve them in co-curricular activates based on their interests. • Developed Term-end and Year-end reports of the goals achieved based on the IEP and the areas of improvement. • Mentored Grade 5 students for the IB Exhibition. • Collected evidence and documented them for the school evaluation
