Camerata Pacifica is a Santa Barbara-based group of exceptional musicians, offering a very wide ranging and imaginative program of chamber music at several venues in Southern California. As a Board Director, I work to expand Camerata's audience and profile, particularly in the Los Angeles area. LA's BEST is an after school program serving 28,000 elementary school children in the low income neighborhoods of Greater Los Angeles. As an active Board member, I have developed many connections and activities to further enrich this terrific program -- for example in 2011 a children's book club and essay contest, which resulted in eight young winners going to London on an all expenses paid visit.
