I had the pleasure of being Sharon's colleague at the AHA. She is a remarkable executive and leader. One of the many projects I had the opportunity of working with her on was the Institute's re-branding initiative. Her ability to negotiate the branding elements necessary for the Institute with the consulting agency and our internal partners was stellar and successful. Sharon's style of leadership provided an opportunity for continued growth, support and encouragement. Sharon leads her team in a way that allows each member's diverse back-ground to be valued and respected. As a result of Sharon's directorship, I had the honor of observing and increasing my knowledge in different areas including the utilization of unique marketing tactics, negotiations and the art of diplomacy.
