  ESSENTIAL DUTIES: In the absence of the Circulation Services manager:· Assist with the daily operations of Circulation Services Department within prescribed protocol.· Address department scheduling conflicts· Assist in the generation of departmental reports as necessary· Resolve patron issues· Ensure the banking process is managed in accordance with departmental and organizational procedures· Work with the administration department to execute the cash handling process· Assist with the processing of timesheets· Supervise Work-study studentsGeneral essential duties:· Provides circulation services to Library users including but not limited to, staffing the circulation desk, registering Library users, circulating materials, assessing and clearing fines· Responds to phone, email, and in-person customer inquiries· Creates patron, item, and holding records in library database· Assists in creating and maintaining customer informational materials, unit forms, and/or procedural documents· Maintains shelf order of materials and shelves returned materials· Handles user inquiries regarding printing and pick-up services· Maintains suppliesOther duties:· May assist with the processing of department time sheets in the absence of department manager and Deputy Director· Other Duties as Assigned Show less
