  Whilst a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons, Sharne worked in the Energy, Resources & Projects team where she practiced mainly in construction law. Sharne was admitted as a solicitor in 2013. Sharne acted for a variety of clients including contractors, subcontractors and principals on both front and back end construction matters. Sharne’s experience includes: - preparation and negotiation of procurement and supply agreements; deeds of novation; professional services contracts; confidentiality agreements; umbrella deeds; settlement deeds an EPC contracts; - assisting in the preparation of adjudication applications (for both applicants and respondents) under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004(Qld); - assisting in the preparation and running of an arbitration; - researching complex legal issues; and - drafting client alerts and industry updates.
