George Lovegrove

Sharlyne is an exceptionally empathetic and talented designer. Her approach to UX is methodical and she consistently gathers as many opinions from the team members and actual users as possible before touching a design tool. She delivered high quality files for me to work with on frontend development - making my life easy as a developer. Sharlyne is a perfectionist which is what makes her a great designer. Sharlyne has a fantastic eye for colour palettes and is has been a pleasure to work with.

I moved from Design Assistant to designing over half of the brand collateral for Debbie Bliss. - Researched, designed, and implemented the rebranding overhaul of the yarn bands and tags across the range to bring more cohesion and consistency, eventually rolling out the aesthetic to rest of the line. - Introduced a new internal format for her books, simplifying the layout and establishing a new typeface to be used for the main pattern copy. - Collaborated with photographers and stylists to art direct shoots for books and lookbooks. - Attended international buyer’s market (Pitti Filati, Florence) to research and select yarn for new seasons. - Keynote designs for distributor meetings and presentations. - Promotional collateral designs for trade shows. - Mood board creation and colour palette selection for new seasons.
