-Deliver direct behavioural services based on the principles of ABA, to children diagnosed with Autism. These includes teaching communication, social/interpersonal, emotional regulation, play skills, daily living and pre-academic skills. - Implement individualized Skill Acquisition Programs to increase appropriate behaviour for one to one or small group sessions. - Follows Behaviour Reduction Plans using Safe Management Group (SMG) strategies as needed. - Prepares, presents and reviews teaching materials for individual child’s program; while monitoring their progress and effectiveness of said programs. - Informs supervisor and assists in creating changes in targets, teaching methods and programming goals. - Collect, track, analyze and graph data on child's progress; evaluating effectiveness and gains in skills during the intervention. - Conduct direct assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FA, direct observation etc.) - Collaborates and maintains open communication with families/legal guardians; presents ways to implement programs, teach skills at home and offers parent training sessions at the centre.
