Yash Agrawal
One of the most friendly and helpful person I have ever met. I've been in touch with shantanu since he was a senior engineer in our team, and I can comfortably say he is kind of a person the team can rely on. Shantanu has constantly impressed me by his ideas and techniques to tackle problems. After being appointed as a manager, the way he handled the team in such a short period of time shows his dedication and remarkable talent to fuel the team. I've seen shantanu encouraging team members to participate in open source projects and contests to help think out of the box. Whenever I ran into an unforeseen issue I know that I can come to shantanu to discuss it, this kind of leadership really helps to stay motivated. A massive thank you for being such a great role model for me during my time in the team and for always showing enthusiasm and willingness to jump in wherever the team needs assistance or guidance. It's been a pleasure working with shantanu, he has always outlived my expectations from a manager.

Microsoft Azure IoT Connected Vehicle PlatformAugmented the feature-set of Azure IoT Edge by working closely with customers of the Connected Vehicle Platform to ensure that their unique requirements are met by the power of Microsoft's Edge computing product. The improved feature-set has helped us attract a few big partners and customers over the last year.Eased the burden on partners and customers by providing in-vehicle IoT solution accelerators that are complete and ready-to-deploy components. These solution accelerators serve as a quick-start for developers and help them rapidly develop their own custom IoT solutions by leveraging the samples as a starting point and cutting their company's overall development cost by several hours. Improved the team's DevOps infrastructure by adding automated pipelines to build, deploy and test the platform and its components with complete CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps pipelines. This has since helped increase developer productivity and the product's reliability and overall quality.Implemented an automated performance laboratory for testing the platform's performance under normal and significant load by building an extensible test framework and leveraging the power of Azure DevOps pipelines. This helped uncover more than 15 existing performance bottlenecks in the platform and also helped ensure that no additional performance related bugs make it to the end product delivered to customers.Mentored new-hires on the team ranging from college graduates to industry hires. Thus helped increase the team's productivity by making their on-boarding faster and easier by scheduling brownbags and technical deep dives.
