As an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Plantory cohort, I worked closely with Shannon during my year of service. Having served as an AmeriCorps VISTA too, Shannon is very knowledge about the nonprofit sector. They were an incredibly great leader and mentor for our cohort as I navigated my first job with a nonprofit. I knew I could depend on them with any questions related to grant writing, fundraising, capacity building, and marketing. Without a doubt, Shannon is an amazing, compassionate leader with a drive to help others reach their full potential.
