I had the pleasure of working alongside Shannon at Noom. Shannon took over the existing operations for one of our core learning experiences and was able to improve efficiency and documentation to ensure better, repeatable processes. She also put significant effort into streamlining the coordination related to a learning program that involves 30+ different facilitators and making the lift less administrative. In addition to her work on program operations, Shannon also did a great job managing the program on an ongoing basis, looking for opportunities to improve and measure the learning experience, consolidate duplicative learning moments wherever possible, and work with a complex stakeholder environment to get things done. She has a can-do attitude and energy and was always up for piloting an MVP version to test and learn. Shannon is a flexible and knowledgeable learning professional who is capable of running all aspects of a learning experience!

Having worked with Shannon for nearly 4 years in a high-pressure health tech space, I have found her to be a highly skilled and exuberantly passionate learning advocate. She is results-driven, experienced, thoughtful, and forward-thinking. I have been honored to work alongside Shannon on many projects scaling from small, low-stakes audits to massive, high-priority program design and witnessed inspiring adaptation, collaboration, and ambition. She is a natural leader in learning empowerment and posesses exceptional leadership skills, which I leaned on personally many times through challenging projects. Shannon will be an empowering asset to any company looking to empower their workforce and foster a culture of learning!

In this role, I develop curriculum content and instructional materials for 6 Behavioral Science courses for 80+ cohorts. As virtual learning became more widely accepted as the norm, I seamlessly transitioned myself and my students to video sessions as a supplement to text-based LMS (Blackboard). I engage students in group discussions to broaden perspectives on subjects like diversity and ethics, creating culture of active and empathetic listening. Each student is encouraged to pursue goals and achieve outcomes while cultivating deep knowledge of different opinions and beliefs for a well-rounded educational experience. Show less

I built 5 iterations of the L&D framework from the ground up to facilitate the startup’s growth and people development efforts. My scalable training programs focused on connecting real-life experiences to curriculum content through transformative workshops and sessions tailored to speak to various organizational events (inventory, audits, etc.).After redesigning L&D program from a 6-day video experience to an immersive, 2-week program with choice between 9 different delivery methods (using Bloom’s Taxonomy) and over 200 types of learning experiences. I also engaged various people groups in dynamic discussions, workshops, and train-the-trainer sessions. Show less
