This role requires the strong ability to multitask while providing support to the department staff. This position includes maintaining and developing in house training including creating, improving, and documenting processes that meet the needs of our internal staff and external clients. A strong ability to develop and cultivate talent is essential. Additionally this role requires the ability to coach employees, provide constructive feedback, complete quarterly reviews, and make personel decisions. The ability to problem solve and research accurately in fast paced high stress environments is critial. This position utilizes a strong payroll knowledge with an understanding of both federal and state laws, the ability to reconcile taxes both on a per Payroll basis but also for year end and quarterly filings. Per our policy I completed reviews weekly on any statements remitted to our company to verify good standing on payments and that we were at no point behind in payments to our vendors. I worked side by side with other associates within our building and with our vendors to find solutions to any invoicing or payment issues that arose throughout the week. Our department was also responsible for assisting with overflow calls in our driver payroll department. At the end of my tenure in this department we integrated a new system for processing. RMS was a 3rd party outsourced vendor and while working there I processed for 3 different accounts. 2007-2008 February Interstate Waste This account was a transitional phase for RMS. We were cleaning up there unapplied cash as they transitioned in closing one of their offices. 2008 February -2009 Ecolab This account was for Ecolab delivery and pest control. This was a high volume high dollar account. While working this account they hired 20 associates in our India office. I assisted with management over a 2 month period to traine their employees and assist them to apply the checks received on account. All wire transactions were handled in the US byour offices. 2009-2010 Interstate Waste Interstate Waste came back for assistance as they changed over their entire companies accounting systems. Their offices requested my involvement specifically as I had been integral to the clean up of their books previously. It was due to this request in their contract that I moved from the Ecolab account to Interstate Waste. 2010-2010 Nortel/ Avaya When the integration was completed for IWS I swapped to nortel where I was responsible for international payment processing and posting.
