As founding leader, I designed and implemented the instructional coaching program based on principles of adult learning, effective facilitation, and best practices in coaching to serve a faculty of 150+, PreK–12, building from 0% to 70+% voluntary participation. • Create and facilitate small-group, divisional, and all-school professional learning to respond to identified learning needs, advance institutional goals, and increase teacher collaboration within and between departments. **Some topics include: social-emotional learning, competency-based classrooms, inquiry-based lessons, content integration, educational technology tools, equitable classroom practice, cultivating resilience, and collaboration.• Provide 1:1 coaching to teachers and school leaders by facilitating reflective conversations, classroom observations, and looking at work together.• Create, share, and model methods, materials, tools, and other resources for best teaching practices through remote, hybrid, and in-person instructor-led sessions, asynchronous modules, video tutorials, infographics, and a curated resource website. • Meet regularly with Assistant Head of School and Division Heads (1:1 and as a group) to collaborate on and assess required all-school and divisional professional learning.• Train and supervise other instructional coaches—plan and facilitate regular team meetings and retreats, determine time and project allocation, guide and track professional learning, and facilitate annual review process. • Oversee communication with all constituents regarding the program, including its impact on teaching and learning, as well as resources and opportunities for engagement. • Create and maintain systems for record keeping, scheduling, sharing and organizing resources, and managing the program budget. • Use data and feedback loops to assess and guide development of the instructional coaching program and identify professional learning needs.
