Through creating a platform through which customers can connect with the experiences and the powerful message of the artisan producers, Muhra offers an opportunity for displaced women in Istanbul to earn a small income through handicraft production and sales. The social enterprise aims to effectively merge social and economic goals, supporting the community through providing much needed income, skills development and livelihood opportunities as well as a safe place of friendship and belonging.
