In my current role, I work on a range of projects with varying stakeholders from across the organisation and have modernised many inefficient HR processes, including setting up an online applicant tracking and recruitment system and introducing one-way video interview software to combat being unable to host mass-recruitment events during the pandemic. Since then I have also facilitated further integrations with online training providers and rota systems. I am a systems super user and constantly on the lookout for how systems can be improved and integrated more seamlessly to assist the HR team and managers/systems users. These solutions have been embedded within the organisation, where I provide continued support and training for managers.A significant responsibility of this role is to project manage all HR aspects of the Festival Fringe recruitment campaign (hiring between 350-450 additional hospitality and events staff), from initial planning through to coordination of recruitment events and onboarding, maintaining the HR information and rota system and contract/payroll preparation. Passionate about providing the best candidate experience. Other duties include managing recruitment and selection activities, organising training, HR reporting (headcount, turnover, sickness absence, recruitment, staff trends and exit interviews), and assisting with other general HR activities such as payroll and employee relations.
