Prior to commencing my Training Contract I worked in the Personal Injury Department handling EL/PL claims. My duties and skills include: assessing prospects at the beginning of a claim, advising clients on liability, obtaining and reviewing medical evidence, drafting pleadings, advising clients on the merits of an offer and negotiating with third parties.

Volunteer

Volunteer for LASP Legal Support and Advice Project, where I worked on Employment Support Allowance Appeals. My role included meeting and interviewing clients, preparing their statement and legal submission for ESA appeals and representing them at the tribunal. I was very proud to volunteer here. I felt confident meeting clients and enjoyed working with them to make their case as strong as possible.
