It is rare to come across someone as organized, efficient and dependable as Shannon. As the Senior Marketing Specialist for London Health Sciences Foundation with a dedicated events portfolio, I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Shannon on numerous event-related projects over the years. Her integrity, passion and strong work ethic mean when she is managing a task, there is no doubt she will see it through flawlessly and with grace. Aside from her professional skills, Shannon is one of the best colleagues and teammates one could ask for. She is humble, loyal and respectful. I consider myself lucky to work alongside Shannon and to have been mentored by her over the last 8+ years.

I had the privilege to work with Shannon as part of my Manager, Risk and Privacy role at London Health Sciences Centre. As part of my pandemic management responsibilities, a working group was established to coordinate food donations from our very generous community supporters. Shannon was a committed team player in the working group representing the London Health Sciences Foundation. She demonstrated strong leadership skills working with the team to establish principles and guidelines to use with our community donors to ensure appropriate donations and an equitable distribution of food and snacks to all staff across LHSC. I could always count on Shannon's willingness to take on and complete tasks to make this effort successful. She worked collaboratively with our food donors, volunteer team and clinical staff to ensure that food donations got to our clinical staff to support their efforts in providing excellent healthcare during a very trying pandemic time period. Overall, this team effort coordinated the delivery of over 11,000 meals to LHSC staff from our community donors! It would be my pleasure to work with Shannon again in the future and I am confident that she would be an excellent addition to any team going forward. Thank you Shannon for all your support!
