As the operations coordinator for outdoor advertisement billboards, my responsibilities include, but are not limited to, co-ordinating with contractors regarding the new builds, removals, and maintenance repairs. Scheduling and organizational skills have been enhanced by being the primary liaison between the department, contractors, leasing representatives, and lessors/property owners. In addition, I am heavily involved in putting in requests for structural engineer drawings, requests for quotations of materials and/or labour; as well as distributing purchase orders to each contractor to ensure all necessary documents are provided to produce new and/or eliminate existing digital and static billboards. During my last year of college, I took a job opportunity at the local sports dome. I was in charge of taking down and setting up multiple events that were happening within the dome; such as golf, soccer, tennis, rugby, etc. I was able to work with the public seeing as I was interacting with the citizens of Belleville, as well as the students from Loyalist College. While a person was playing inside the dome, they also had the opportunity to purchase drinks and snacks from the front desk; with this I was able to gain cashier experience. Show less

At Loyalist College, they offer full time jobs in the summer for students who are returning in the fall. I was granted the opportunity to work for my college with a team of excellent people. We had to work on a day-to-day basis cleaning and refurnishing the residences for the upcoming year, as well as keep up with the maintenance in certain buildings; seeing as certain buildings were run as a hotel in the summer. Although this job was seasonal it gave me a lot of experience working with customers and being able to work both independently and in a team. Show less
