      I was selected to represent the Australian Defence Force as a Military Observer with the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization. In this role I not only monitored Israel’s compliance with the 1974 Agreement on Disengagement*, but was also afforded the opportunity to engage with foreign dignitaries and representatives of the international community.Notable Achievements:1. Contributed to the redesign of the UN Observer Training Package for Observer Group Golan, which resulted in a marked improvement in the quality of the training and performance of military observers in the Golan Heights. 2. Selected on merit to perform the role of the Joint Operations Officer at UNTSO HQ in Jerusalem. * The 1974 Agreement on Disengagement is a ceasefire agreement reached by the military leaders of Israel and Syria in May 1974, which marked the end of the Yom Kippur War.
