I've had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Kattari on various initiatives related to inclusion topics. Dr. Kattari demonstrated a wide array of knowledge and skills when approaching equity and inclusion initiatives in their work environment. I appreciated that much of their praxis was informed not just by relevant research but also by their personal lived experiences. They are always focused on tangible outcomes benefiting our audience population (in this case college students) and seek innovative ways to support their development and experiences while at university. While working with them, I appreciate Dr. Kattari's honesty which helped me learn how to approach difficult situations. It's always been a joy and excitement to learn, grow from, and be in the presence of a colleague like Dr. Kattari.

I’ve known Shanna for over a decade, and I can honestly say she is one of the most intelligent, articulate, passionate, creative, and hardworking people I know! She was literally by my wife’s and my side when we testified in the CO state legislature for civil unions and marriage equality, when we were all speakers at rallies for LGBTQ equality, and when we were celebrating our hard-fought victories. As an independent research and analytics consultant, I occasionally need additional resources and reached out to Shanna for help with data entry of hard copies of data from courts throughout the state of Colorado. She was very responsive and got the data entry done very quickly and accurately. She even taught me some things in Excel and came up with ways to improve the way we were laying out the data. I later found out that Shanna had attended the school for gifted children that my son recently attended. I highly recommend Shanna for any role in which she can utilize her exceptional communication, public speaking, and educating skills along with her creative brain!
