      Shannon worked with the Ethno Cultural Seniors Program as the coordinator on new projects including "Green Ambassadors for Rexdale - Everything Old is New Again"​; "Rexdale Seniors Onboard the Discovery Bus" and "Food for Thought - Older Adult Men's Breakfast Club". These programs focus on empowering older adults and engaging them more with their community encouraging socialization and reducing isolation.
